I absolutely love this. Even upon reading the words before listening to the song it felt to me more somber and nudging, but then listening to the ~confidence and "take you by the hand and excitedly lead you" upbeat rhythm is so fitting to the message. Can't wait to hear the rest of the EP!
I love that you felt some of the contrast between the feel and the lyrics!! I find that there’s a seriousness in leaving behind limiting beliefs and choosing what to use the time we have left on — the tone of the lyrics almost feel like a warning.
